THE SCHWEIZER/MEDETBECOVA DUO

The duo
Founded in 2005, the Schweizer-Medetbecova duo is happy to share its love for the great repertoire of four-hand piano.
The musical, technical and formal mastery of the two partners, as well as their obvious complicity, are the strengths of an exciting concert from beginning to end.
The duo toured Indonesia in 2015, Kyrgyzstan in 2009 and 2017, and Macau in January 2025 for the 14th Macau Piano Competition.
He was invited to the inauguration of the auditorium of the famous piano maker Stephen Paulello, creator of the 102-key piano "op. 102", to play The Rite of Spring.
He proposes a symphonic piano four-hands program for 2025:
Beethoven: transcription of the 5th Symphony
Liszt: The Preludes (transcription by the author)
Stravinsky: The Rite of Spring (transcription by the author)
Ravel: Spanish Rhapsody, transcription by the author.
